Here are a bunch of things that I have been too busy to post. Some of them are a couple months old, but better late than never, right?
Lincoln with his medal from school
The medal was for being one of the kids who read the most minutes in the entire school. He does love to read!
Marina's school program - she is standing, wearing pink on the second to last row.
Marina's face is the masterpiece!
Hiking with mom, Karlene and Jesse. Marina is a very good little hiker!
Kanarraville creek - slot canyons
Karlene and Marina
Marina and me
Kanarravile falls
Marina found the perfect little spot to let her feet warm up. The water was so cold!
Kanarraville - Marina took this picture at the end of the hike
Ryan and Lincoln
Eclipse Party! We had a great view of the ring of fire eclipse. Karlene and Jesse joined us.
Marina wanted to do something nice for her teacher on the last day of school. So, she cut these flowers herself from our yard. Marina was so proud to take them to school with her.
Grandma Terry has so many fun things, why only do one at a time? I think you get more out of a book if you are dressed like the statue of liberty.
Junior archeologists digging for dinosaurs at Downtown Disney, Orlando
Lincoln and Marina got to build a dinosaur (just like Build a Bear). They adopted Anakin, whose name was promptly changed to Dexter. They got to take their new friend to Maine with them!
Downtown Disney, Orlando
Marina, Anakin/Dexter, and Princess Aurora
Scary pirate, Lincoln, Dexter/Anakin, and Marina
Lincoln got to drive remote cars too
At the end of the night, we took a boat ride back to the other end of Downtown Disney. Too much fun with their cousin Jane.
After too much fun at Downtown Disney, Lincoln and Marina are very sleepy. Anakin/Dexter does not see to mind.
But they perked right up when they heard karaoke was on the horizon
Awesome singers!
Marina, Jane, and Lincoln
All the cousins - Anakin/Dexter, Marina, Kate, Lincoln, Jane, and Alice
After their Nana and Papa picked the kids up in Orlando, I continued on with my parents to see New York City. Along the way, we met up with Bunker and Ducky (it was so nice to meet you in person). We spent a few hours in Washington DC, and I visited a few places I had never made it before.
I have to take pictures of every Lincoln I see for Lincoln
Sculptures of Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Susan B. Anthony, and Lucretia Moss
On to New York City. We stayed on Staten Island, and took the Staten Island Ferry into Manhatten each day.
Brooklyn Bridge - the reason for the whole trip. We walked across it and even took a boat underneath it to top off the experience.
This ship was leaving the harbor - very neat to see!
Ryan and I attended the play - Million Dollar Quartet in Las Vegas.
