A Grand Send-Off

We got to play a little bit before the kids headed off to Maine.

Marina's entourage - Joanna and Emree before we left Cedar City

Marina in lovely Las Vegas

Her enthusiasm is contagious for some

First stop with Grandma and Grandpa Paul was the Children's Discovery Museum.

Lincoln and Marina lifting a car, thanks to the magic of levers

We all played in the water room

And got a little wet

The performers come out

Ryan has the performer in him, too

Our next stop was Hoover Dam

The Dam Tour

From inside the Dam

I love a good winding road/tunnel

Clark County Museum was next up.  So many cool things to see.

No, that's not actually the guy from Pawn Stars, but it's his cardboard cutout.  Finally, we celebrated my birthday at Springs Preserve, a collection of museums and wildlife/botanical preserve.

Train ride around the preserve

Mammoth inside the Nevada State Museum

Where's Superman?  Oh, right there.
And, finally goodbye at the airport.  See you in August!

Ryan and I have been keeping busy since the kids left.  We have both been getting ready for summer at work, and Ryan and I both wrote articles for the Shakespeare Festival's newsletter.  For those of you who aren't on the Festival's mailing list, you can check it out here.
