Christmas at the Homestead

We all volunteered for a Christmas event at Ryan's museum. Lincoln sang, Marina was an elf and helped with some of the other activities, and I did whatever needed to be done. It was a great way to start the Christmas season. Marina and Lincoln also had Christmas performances at school. Marina's choir performed for the school Christmas assembly, and Lincoln's drama class did A Pirate's Christmas Carol, in which he was Santa Claus.

Fall 2015

This will be a bit of a catch all post from the end of summer and fall.

Cousins visited Ella, Kaden, and Carter

At the museum: Ella Carter and Kaden

At the airport headed home after lots of summer adventures.

Guess whose backpack this is. One hint: it's not Lincoln's. Marina is joining the Paul family superhero fandom.
Celebrating Marina's birthday
Continuing the Paul family superhero fandom is Lincoln and Ryan attending ComicCon as a birthday present to each of them. They had a great time!

Lincoln got braces!
There have been lots of fun activities at Frontier Homestead. We go there a lot.

Spontaneous public art at the museum. I LOVE this.

First day of school photos
First day of 8th grade

First day of 5th grade
We visited Cedar Breaks National Monument for Ryan to give a program about Iron County. It was a great day to be up there.

Marina got to meet her favorite Festival actor: Allie Babich. Allie was in 3 plays that Marina saw this year: South Pacific, Charley's Aunt, and Dracula. Allie has a fan for life, and was great to hang out with Marina at a Festival party.

At The Taming of the Shrew in the final season of the Adams Shakespearean Theater.

A few photos of the Adams theater from the last performance. Bittersweet. We'll be opening a new outdoor theater next summer.

Lincoln's drama class play. He is the Chef.
We had a fun family reunion with the Terry family. We stayed in a historic building - used to be a courthouse, and had tons of fun!

Ella is the judge and Kaden is testify as to whether or not Ryan does the dishes. I think Ryan lost on appeal, but there were too many giggles to tell for sure.

There was a playground nearby for even more fun

This painting was hanging in the hall - the kids all decided she was creepy.

Marina loves her cousins!

More events at the museum - Halloween!

Crazy hair day at school
